The work on setting up an Independent Media Awards for the UK began in earnest this month. We agreed to hold the awards at the Byline Festival on 24 – 27 August and we have begun the hunt for sponsors.
This has been a long but fruitful year.
We have all learned a lot about technology, we have recruited new worker members to the co-op who have been excellent, welcomed new media partners to the Fund, launched our site, done a promotion push online and have agreed on a business plan for the following 12 months.
